I have tested this on x86 and it works fine here.

mapson-2.3.ebuild

------- Comment #2 From Peter Simons 2003-06-22 11:37:31 0000 -------
I kinda forgot to mention: This package should go into net-mail, IMHO.

------- Comment #3 From Peter Simons 2003-06-28 04:32:44 0000 -------
I have just released the 2.4 version of mapSoN. The ebuild didn't change;
renaming the file is all there is to it. (It may take a moment for the release
archive to show up on the sourceforge mirrors.)

------- Comment #4 From Peter Simons 2003-08-10 03:22:20 0000 -------
Uh, is there any chance, this ebuild will make it into the distribution any
time soon? It's been waiting here for almost 2 months now ...

------- Comment #5 From Peter Simons 2003-10-01 00:19:23 0000 -------
Hello? HELLO? Does anybody care about this ebuild or not?

------- Comment #6 From Peter Simons 2004-04-05 08:53:49 0000 -------
Since nothing is happening with this package anyway, I'll close the bug report.

------- Comment #7 From Robin Johnson 2004-04-05 12:48:22 0000 -------
just because you haven't recieved a response, doesn't mean this is invalid.
it's just means we're so busy we haven't had a sufficently detailed examination of it yet to put it in the tree.

as an example of something that get it approved sooner, look at setting it up for other MTA's if this is possible.

------- Comment #8 From Peter Simons 2004-04-05 13:40:56 0000 -------
I certainly don't expect anybody to respond immediately, when I file a bug
report or submit a new ebuild. Certainly not. But honestly, 10 MONTHS without
any kind of reaction seems a bit long.

The software is at version 3.x in the meanwhile, so this ebuild is obsolete
anyway.

------- Comment #9 From Robin Johnson 2004-04-05 13:52:06 0000 -------
once the new versions are released, attach the new ebuild and update the
summary line.

------- Comment #10 From Peter Simons 2004-04-05 14:29:10 0000 -------
The chances of me submitting an ebuild for the new version are very, very slim.
I would recommend closing this bug, since it really serves no purpose, IMHO.
Then whoever does an ebuild for mapSoN 3.x can just create a new entry.

May he have better luck than I did.

------- Comment #12 From Andrej Kacian (RETIRED) 2004-08-31 01:17:14 0000 -------
I will have a look at this one during the weekend. It emerges just fine, but a
postinstallation einfo message to users about mapson usage would be handy. Just
put few einfo lines in pkg_postinst(), directing user to nearest mapson
documentation. I had to look for usage docs on mapson's homepage, that would
unnecessarily waste regular user's time.

------- Comment #13 From Andrej Kacian (RETIRED) 2004-09-06 15:59:24 0000 -------
In CVS now. Thanks for the ebuild and for the patience.
