Description Mikael Hallendal (hallski) (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2002-01-19 04:56:28 UTC
It's rather annoying that you can't use ebuild unpack without filling all
dependencies. Could this check be done when you do ebuild compile/install instead.
Comment 1 Mikael Hallendal (hallski) (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2002-01-23 03:34:20 UTC
changed severity to enhancement
Comment 2 Daniel Robbins (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2002-01-28 12:45:59 UTC
this *is* annoying and I think it should be fixed before Portage 1.0. A
"polish" feature. Portage also has a tendency to check digests way too often if
you do an "ebuild foo.ebuild clean unpack compile..."
Comment 3 Daniel Robbins (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2002-02-21 01:16:35 UTC
This is now fixed on CVS. unpack should no longer trigger a dep check.
