Forwarding to maintainer, but the patch isn't sound. Patches need to be written in a way, so they can be applied unconditionally. In this case the libc distinction has to happen in the Makefile and code or uclibc itself has to be improved. Using CHOST to trigger the patch breaks cross compilation.
where does it break cross-compilation? i'm cross-compiling quite a lot and i just found this bug while doing that. after patching i tested that new ebuild again, while cross-compiling. :)
