Simply, If you try to add some text in blender, it will crash. You'll return a "segmentation fault" Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.open blender 2.press "space bar" and add->text 3.segmentation fault Actual Results: segmentation fault Expected Results: let me enter some text

media-gfx/blender-2.43-r3 still crashes for the same reason. Version >=2.48 doesn't crash because of the patch (I think). Could someone add the patch to the stable version? Tnx.
