Description siefkenj 2008-06-21 23:52:17 UTC
www-client/epiphany-2.22.2-r10 does not include app-text/enchant as a dependency when USE="spell" is specified, even though it is required by epiphany

Reproducible: Didn't try

Steps to Reproduce:
1. USE="spell" emerge =www-client/epiphany-2.22.2-r10
without having enchant emerged.

Thanks. I lost this accidentally when I locally removed USE=spell support due to misreading configure.ac and forgetting to put the dep back in addition to the use_enable and IUSE and overlooked this in the last colordiff against the xul-1.8 revision. Added back now

Btw, do you have spellchecking actually working? I didn't see it working in epiphany neither in the old revision that uses xulrunner-1.8, nor in the new xulrunner-1.9 using revision

Come to think of it, epiphany isn't spell checking. In about:config i set spellchecker.dictionary to en_US, however epiphany won't let me change layout.spellcheckDefault to 1, which i think is necessary to have it spellcheck.
