The bin ebuild for Openoffice 1.1beta2

------- Comment #1 From Roberto Rivera 2003-06-15 10:18:01 0000 -------
Created an attachment (id=13314) [edit]
openoffice-bin-1.1_beta2.ebuild

Since there is no OpenOffice maintainer, I've updated the
openoffice-bin-1.1_beta1.ebuild for beta 2. There were quite a few changes
required for the kde mimetypes and such. It has been working fine on my system
(x86), I have not tested the PowerPC install. Although the gnome specific
parts look good, since I don't use it, I can't confirm that the ebuild will
install the gnome mimetypes stuff correctly.

Caveat: when running from the command prompt the .sversionrc file in the home
directory is created with one entry for OpenOffice.org 1.1=...	I had to
manually add another entry for OpenOffice.org 1.1beta=... with the same
settings. Otherwise you might get the following error:
openoffice.org: You have no entry for OpenOffice.org 1.1beta in ~/.sversionrc,
...

Hope this helps.

I will look into the binary for beta2 soon.

I've just committed a new ebuild that uses the fixes I made in the source
ebuild. Please test it, it should work
