Givaro: C++ library for arithmetic and algebraic computations (http://ljk.imag.fr/CASYS/LOGICIELS/givaro/) version 3.6.10 should possibly belong into sci-libs/
Created attachment 157261 [details] ebuild proposal
LICENSE should be verified (Since it uses GMP however, I think it should be GPL itself)
Sorry I hadn't seen your bug when I filled #230417 as a sage dependency. A few personal comments: gmp isn't really an option if gmp is not there or you are passing this option givaro will install its own gmp I believe. I enabled shared libraries.

An ebuild for givaro-3.2.12 is now in the science overlay. But I cannot change the summary or the keywords to reflect this as the bug doesn't belong to me.
The SRC_URI for givaro has changed from http://ljk.imag.fr/CASYS/LOGICIELS/givaro/${P}.tar.gz to http://ljk.imag.fr/CASYS/LOGICIELS/givaro/Downloads/${P}.tar.gz Also, there have been version bumps with the latest being 3.2.14rc1

I missed this somehow. In the tree as sci-libs/givaro-4.1.1.
