Nicely done MAL. The use of local HTTP* vars to control where it gets installed is a nice touch. I modified the commit ebuild to use the same datadir format found in the apache ebuilds. The leaves the customization option, but lets zoneminder install to where apache was installed to without user intervention. thanks again.
You broke the usefulness of this ebuild. The whole point was that the user could specify a different destination dir on the command line, overriding any detection. See bug #23219
