If you think that xdrawchem needs a version bump, that's nice and helpful.

But why do you talk of a "new ebuild" and attach one when it is (except the hand-edited header line) exactly the same as the 1.6.8 already in portage?

Just saying "hey, there's a new version and the old ebuild works" is less work for you and less for us.
