The package sci-astronomy/orsa-0.7.0 is fairly old, but its ebuild has a bug. While merging with USE="mpi", I get following error: >>> Source unpacked. >>> Compiling source in /tmp/portage/tmpdir/portage/sci-astronomy/orsa-0.7.0/work/orsa-0.7.0 ... sed: can't read die: No such file or directory sed: can't read sed to fix fftw failed: No such file or directory sed: can't read src/orsa/Makefile: No such file or directory Steps to reproduce: 1. echo "=sci-astronomy/orsa-0.7.0" >> /etc/portage/package.keywords 2. USE="mpi" emerge -v1 orsa I attach the logs.

Thanks much for the bug report, Marek. I will have a look at this. Best, Markus
I've changed the MPI dependency of orsa to openmpi and compilation now works fine for me even with gcc-4.3. Please reopen this bug should you still have problems. Thanks, Markus
