Rebuilding iptables 1.4.0-r1 after updating glibc from 2.7-r2 to
2.8_p20080602, I get the following error:

there seems to be two parts here ... iptables doesnt use the correct API, and
newer kernel headers introduce defines which clobber the glibc ones

the fix for iptables is in cvs ... i'll update linux-headers in a bit
