Would like to add libewf in order to enable SleuthKit to read/write EWF (EnCase, SMART) forensic image formats. Proposed ebuild attached.

Created attachment 163913 [details] 20080820 beta Thanks for the bump to sourceforge; I'd already done that in my private overlay, but failed to do so here - forensics@ seems sufficiently uninterested or overloaded that these maintainer-wanted bugs have pretty much just served as a channel to publish ebuilds for the interested. That said, I'm not sure what changing the description adds, but whatever works for you - check your spelling. Attaching ebuild for the beta version, works quite nicely. Also updated to depend on the recent sys-libs/e2fsprogs-libs shift and to reflect upstream now providing an optional python binding.
