Description:   Opened: 2008-04-28 11:06 0000
All official xorg packages install man pages in the section 4, why does gentoo
patch it to install into the 4x section? As I see, bug 29541 does not apply
anymore, because the man page is called mousedrv now; no more shadowing.

Why is the patch still in? It makes it slightly harder to create official xorg
tarballs.

Thanks,
Sascha

Reproducible: Always

Sounds like a great idea. Are there any overlaps with the joystick driver?

I did not find any overlaps of the joystick driver with other man pages in
Linux, especially not system related ones.

Fixed in util-macros-1.1.6-r1 and in x-modular.eclass (for packages that don't
run eautoreconf). The XDPVER ebuild variable no longer does anything, because
no patches are applied anymore.

And fixed..
