The line ends in Makefile.am of libsoundtouch-1.3.1-r1 are <CR><LF> instead of just <LF>. This will lead to aclocal failing because it is run as aclocal -I config/m4^M Reproducible: Always This can easily be fixed by just running dos2unix on Makefile.am. There is already a patch for the Makefile which could be extended to take care of line ends.
Another user reported it on IRC and did 26 Apr 2008; Samuli Suominen <drac@gentoo.org> files/libsoundtouch-1.3.1-Makefile.patch, libsoundtouch-1.3.1-r1.ebuild: Replace patching of Makefile.am with patching of Makefile.in files, and run elibtoolize instead of eautoreconf because it fails. Thanks to WiLLiKiZu for reporting. since it was running eautoreconf only to remove trivial flags, reopen if this solution doesn't work for you.. Thanks for reporting!
