Description Darren Dale 2008-04-24 21:58:56 UTC
I can't build numpy-1.0.4-r2 on ~amd64. I tagged this as major, since there is no other numpy option in portage and my work is at a standstill until I can get numpy reinstalled. (That will teach me to play with numpy-svn):

Could you please try emerging numpy with some LDFLAGS
set, e.g., LDFLAGS="-Wl,-O1".

Thanks,
Markus

Yes, it compiles with LDFLAGS="-Wl,-O1", or LDFLAGS="-O1", or LDFLAGS="-Wl", but not LDFLAGS="".

Hi Darren,

Thanks much for testing! I think I know how to fix
this then.

best,
Markus
