Using ~amd64, I am no longer able to reinstall x11-base/xorg-server-1.3.0.0-r5
(probably after some upgrade), getting "Failed running aclocal" after patches
are applied.

Yes, it does not occur with autoconf-2.61-r1 but with 2.62 here, too

I don't really support people trying to use ~arch systems with stable
xorg-server. Despite that, there is a patch in the latest 1.4 ebuild -- if you
would like to make it apply to 1.3, I'd be happy to add it.

I have just added ${FILESDIR}/xorg-server-1.4.0.90-automake-1.10.1-fixup.patch
at the end of PATCHES section of the ebuild and it applied without any
modification, thus I could build the server. Thank you for pointing at this
patch.

Could you please commit it to the tree so that people experiencing this issue
could drop the overlaid ebuild?
