Before you do that you have to actually fix the ebuild.

This:
!(built_with_use dev-ml/lablgtk svg)

and this:
!(built_with_use media-libs/gd truetype)

are broken.

Uh...and why are broken?

because !(foo) is bash syntax for a type of pathname expansion.

from man bash:
"!(pattern-list)
        Matches anything except one of the given patterns"

it should be ! built_with_use - no parens.

I agree. Would be nice if it got fixed before the-rest-of-the-arches went
stable.

Or go for a revbump..
