While wondering about this http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-688867-highlight-.html I found 2 minnor issues related to this package:

1. the executable is under /usr/sbin/ whereas all other mkfs.* are under /sbin
2.The man page says for -F: "32 bit FAT (FAT32 format) must (still) be selected explicitly if you want it." but this seems outdated b/c FAT32 is automatically selected at the 2 GB SD card.
