We need dev-lisp/clisp-2.43-r1 stable for bug #217408). Can we go ahead?

------- Comment #1 From Marijn Schouten 2008-04-14 19:46:35 0000 -------
yes, it has less bugs than current stable versions on other arches which I am
CC now.

------- Comment #2 From Markus Rothe 2008-04-17 07:40:44 0000 -------
I seem to hit bug #54738 . Although it doesn't tell me that there is "Not
enough memory". This might be a "normal" segfault?

./lisp.run -B . -N locale -E 1:1 -Efile UTF-8 -Eterminal UTF-8 -norc -m 1800KW
-x "(and (load \"init.lisp\") (sys::%saveinitmem) (ext::exit)) (ext::exit t)"
make: *** [interpreted.mem] Segmentation fault

------- Comment #3 From Marijn Schouten 2008-04-17 09:51:35 0000 -------
Markus, please comment on that bug with gcc version and arch.

------- Comment #4 From Markus Rothe 2008-04-17 13:15:39 0000 -------
this happens on my ppc64 machine with gcc-4.1.2 and gcc-4.3.0, too.

------- Comment #7 From nixnut 2008-05-04 17:37:14 0000 -------
ppc stable

------- Comment #8 From Brent Baude 2008-09-18 02:03:04 0000 -------
I have put clisp in package.use.mask for ppc64. Please remove it from there if
clisp stabilizes.
