I downloaded the above mentionned gentoo on the above mentionned website ! when
the gentoo linux is installed, I saw on the graphical interface "gentoo 2007.0"
instead of "gentoo 2008" ! I am very surprised about it because I though
downloading the newest version and it wasn't it really ! I had already the 2007
version ! Now I have twice the same version of gentoo 2007 !!!! what's happen
then ?

I guess that you missed that it is a Beta release.  As such, we didn't change
the graphics.  It is 2008.0 Beta 1.
