After upgrade to kbd-1.14.1 /usr/bin/setkeycodes disappeared from my system.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:

2.Try to use setkeycodes

Actual Results:

associate a scancode to a keycode

WORKAROUND: mask kbd-1.14.1 and emerge kbd-1.13-r1

emerge --info output:

/usr/bin/getkeycodes and /usr/bin/resizecons are missing as well...

Propagates configure options

The two variables set by configure were not transmitted in the src/ directory.
The attached patch fix it.
Comment 3 PL Hayes 2008-04-01 13:07:08 UTC
Does this also fix the boot problems caused by loadkeys and setfont not existing in /bin/ anymore? I had trouble logging in after a reboot just now thanks to that little change.
Comment 4 Lars Wendler (Polynomial-C) (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2008-04-01 14:41:14 UTC
The patch works. I only wonder why "eautoreconf" is not necessary although the patch changes src/Makefile.in and not src/Makefile...
Comment 5 Sebastian T. Hafner 2008-04-01 15:14:27 UTC
same on x86 architecture
Comment 6 SpanKY gentoo-dev 2008-04-01 15:16:46 UTC
