Suggestion Runtime (etc/init.d/) scripts for lisa and reslisa would be nice. Currently I load them from /etc/conf.d/local.start: # start (res)lisa demon (for network browsing in kde) /usr/kde/3/bin/lisa > /dev/null /usr/kde/3/bin/reslisa > /dev/null and kill them in /etc/conf.d/local.stop
Well, remove reslisa from my wish list becaue it is no daemon. Runtime script for lisa would be still nice though ;)
The scripts seem to be installed now by the portage system, but the permissions are wrong. Please add the executable permission when installing this out of the ebuild script. bash-2.05a# ls -l /etc/init.d/lisa -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 562 May 20 16:59 /etc/init.d/lisa bash-2.05a# Ciao Siegbert
Running 1.2 on PPC and same error here (no surprise I guess). After doing "rc-update add lisa default" I get errors when booting, as the permissions are not ok. (KDE 3 from yesterday)
I have no idea what 'lisa' are or even what installs it. Please assign to somebody that does, or tell me where it gets installed, and ill try to fix it.
Nevermind... now there are runtime scripts for lisa (which is part of KDE (network?) by the way). No idea who committed them though. Changed status of bug report to fixed!
