I am blocked from installing other packages because of this. And this package
keeps coming up for installation. I can't seem to get rid of it.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge -a =x11-drivers/xf86-video-apm-1.2.0
2. Dies after attempting to patch the source.

Actual Results:

Expected Results:  
It should compile without any problems.

I can confirm that this is also the same on my machine.  Didn't post the log as
it is identical to the original post.
