when i'm restarting the system and mails go to backupmx, then the mastermx comes up again, the backupmx starts delivering again.
seems that sendmail starts too early, so the backupmx gets
#5.5.2 SMTP; 501 5.5.2 <???connection?timed?out??no?servers?could?be?reached>: Helo command rejected: Invalid name>


maybe it helps, when i put this into startup scripts from mastermx
depend() 
        after dns
