Description Alexander Skwar 2008-03-14 12:46:20 UTC
Please bump pinentry to v0.7.5.

Using the patch from http://www.gossamer-threads.com/lists/engine?do=post_attachment;postatt_id=2875;list=gnupg I was able to build 0.7.5 (0.7.4-r1 does not build on my system; I haven't checked if 0.7.4-r1 would work with this patch as well).

(cf. bug #213382, which could then be closed).

The patch works with 0.7.3 and 0.7.4-r1 (i.e. these versions compile fine), but I see a segfault, as updated on bug #213382. Does pinentry-gtk-2 work fine for you?

I only have the curses interface installed.

test9 pinentry # pinentry-curses
OK Your orders please
test9 pinentry #
test9 pinentry # emerge -vpt pinentry

These are the packages that would be merged, in reverse order:

I now compiled pinentry with qt3 and gtk flags enabled, and I can startup pinentry-gtk-2 or pinentry-qt just fine.
