When trying to access the admin panel in druapl, results below given.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.USE="-xml" emerge php
2.emerge =www-apps/drupal-6.1


Actual Results:  

Fatal error: Call to undefined function xml_parser_create() in /var/www/theneb.co.uk/htdocs/blog/modules/update/update.fetch.inc on line 155



Expected Results:  
Load the drupal admin panel.
