Reading your blog I wanted to take pambase for a spin, but emerge failed due to
the ebuild having:
pam? ( >=sys-auth/pambase-20081902.1 )
instead of
pam? ( >=sys-auth/pambase-200810224 )
I guess since the only version of pambase existing in portage is 20080224.

Otherwise thanks for the great work you do!

Thanks, I mistyped it and didn't notice it (it's 20080219 rather than
20081902). I'm still using the older version number just for history reasons,
but yeah there is only one version of it in the tree :)
