Shorewall runs here stable for about 4 Months on a 100MBit Firewall with different zones behind. Not problems at all.
Please mark as stable.

All I can say is that it's been rock solid for me for the past 3 months on an x86 production gateway with a total of 6 ethernet interfaces (5 ISPs, 1 LAN, 3 VPNs).

With v.4 out and maturing, I think that it's perfectly safe to stabilize 3.4.7.

And what about net-firewall/shorewall-lite? Should we stabilize it too?

shorewall stable on amd64...didn't get a chance to test shorewall-lite (I'd need to build another system to do that).  I'm leaving amd64 on CC...

3.4.8 is stable on amd64, please reopen if this version is also needed.
