Rebuilding toolchain/system/world after upgrading gcc from 4.2.2 to 4.2.3, I get the following error rebuilding gtkhtml 3.12.3:

I had no problems building this with 4.2.2.

Comment 1 Gilles Dartiguelongue (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2008-02-19 14:24:55 UTC
it has nothing to do with gcc. It's probably because you have glib-2.15 from the gnome overlay.

That makes sense. The last full rebuild I did was in November which would have predated the new glib. It was just coincidence about the gcc upgrade. Thank you.

Closing INVALID since this glib is not in Portage yet.

reopening since we need to handle this issue (and probably for all gtkhtml releases)

I've fixed the latest in-tree version of the highest SLOT for now, as it's the most urgent. I would be fixing the rest once I come back - got to rush out now, which is why the rest will be later or by someone else. Leaving bug open to handle other revisions and slots.
Comment 7 Mart Raudsepp gentoo-dev 2008-03-17 02:14:00 UTC
Should be all free of G_GNUC_FUNCTION errors now..
