Please, stabilize amule-2.1.3-r1, so we can compile it with wxGTK 2.8. Thanks

Reproducible: Always

@armin76: it's customary to add never-stable-yet arches to stabilisation bugs
as well. Stable for HPPA too.

------- Comment #5 From Matthias Langer 2008-03-09 11:34:51 0000 -------
on amd64:

net-p2p/amule-2.1.3-r1
USE="gtk nls stats unicode -daemon -debug -geoip -remote"

should be fine with

x11-libs/wxGTK-2.8.7.1-r1
USE="X gnome gstreamer opengl sdl -debug -doc -odbc -pch"

i spend quite some time in the configuration dialogs and had this thing running
for at least 8 hours. for *testing only* of course i downloaded some good music
i'm listening to now...

The downgrade to amule-2.13 (which uses wxGTK-2.6) solves the problem.

------- Comment #8 From Peter Volkov 2008-03-15 09:20:59 0000 -------
Fabio, thank you very much for report!

But note: this stabilization bug. Please enter a new bug and assign it to
net-p2p and add this bug in depend.

In you report provide emerge --info and USE flags you built amule and wxGTK2
with. Also to get better backtrace rebuild amule (and even glib-2) with
debugging symbols too. And last thing, try to delete ~/.amule (mv ~/.amule
~/.amule.backup) directory - this could solve the problem.

------- Comment #9 From Peter Volkov 2008-03-20 12:34:25 0000 -------
Well, i've tested amule on amd64 and it works. But amule is known crash with to
be stabilized amule-2.1.3-r1 while this crash is absent in amule-2.1.3. So I'm
not sure that we should mark it stable. I'd better resolve this bug as later...
