I don't have qt4 installed and I have have -qt4 set.  I get the following error
when trying to upgrade paraview

Also please replace the nasty qt4_min_version thing with EAPI="1" and 
>=x11-libs/qt-4.3:4

Thanks much for the fix Jakub!
Could you please elaborate on why you dislike the
qt4_min_version? Internally, this function 
already uses the EAPI stuff and I find it slightly
more portable to use the eclass provided function
rather than using the dependency directly.

Didn't even notice someone rewrote it to not produce a totally insane list with
every single qt4 revision that ever was in the tree. :D

Anyway, still requires EAPI="1" defined in the ebuild before inherit. :)

Yeah, thanks! I added the EAPI=1 bit and the
pkg_config() fix. 

I'll have a look at VTK as well, which probably
also needs fixing.
