Description:   Opened: 2008-02-12 21:17 0000 
If dev-python/imaging is not installed at runtime, xasy fails to run with the
following error message:

An error ocurred loading the required PIL library. Please install
http://effbot.org/downloads/Imaging-1.1.6.tar.gz after applying the patch
http://asymptote.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/asymptote/trunk/asymptote/patches/TkAlpha-Imaging-1.1.6.patch

Emerging dev-python/imaging-1.1.6 with the tk flag enabled solves the problem.
I hadn't to apply any patch.

sorry, but I decided to retire my dev-account and therefore have to give up
maintaining asymptote...
