All current apache ebuilds (1.3.20-rX, 1.3.22-rX) put the documentroot in
/usr/local. This is contractory to the FHS, which states that /usr/local is
reserved for the local system administrator.

We should set (and install) documentroot to /var/www or /var/apache/www or
something instead.

Even better would be to let the admin put the root in /etc/rc.conf.

Hmm.. read cvs log (shoulda done it first) and it looks like woodchip is working

Hmmm... shouldn't /usr/local/httpd be /opt/apache instead?
