Description:   Opened: 2008-01-26 19:36 0000
Tested sys-kernel/gentoo-sources-2.6.24 on sparc.

Compiles fine, the warnings I get are harmless:

drivers/macintosh/Kconfig:121:warning: 'select' used by config symbol
'PMAC_APM_EMU' refers to undefined symbol 'APM_EMULATION'

mm/sparse-vmemmap.c: In function 'vmemmap_verify':
mm/sparse-vmemmap.c:64: warning: unused variable 'pfn'

net/bluetooth/hci_sysfs.c: In function 'del_conn':
net/bluetooth/hci_sysfs.c:335: warning: suggest parentheses around assignment
used as truth value

include/asm/parport.h:22: warning: 'dma_spin_lock' defined but not used

drivers/video/aty/atyfb_base.c:2713: warning: 'aty_resume_chip' defined but not
used

WARNING: vmlinux.o(.text+0x3fbf4): Section mismatch: reference to

'smp_fill_in_sib_core_maps')
WARNING: vmlinux.o(.text+0x405ec): Section mismatch: reference to

(there's also a discussion about these sun4v related warnings on the
lkml(http://marc.info/?l=linux-kernel&m=119867199528788&w=2))

Everything that worked in 2.6.23 still works.
