Description Gilles Dartiguelongue (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2008-01-23 13:07:48 UTC
gtkhtml-2.11.1 had no serious bug reports since it was introduced to the tree so I'd like to get it stabilized now.

Target keywords are:
alpha amd64 arm hppa ia64 ppc ppc64 sparc x86
Comment 1 Dustin Polke 2008-01-23 15:58:47 UTC
eva: What about stabilizing of 3.16.2 as well? I didn't find any bugs in bugzilla and this would fix bug #200032 for stable users as well.

BR,
Dustin
Comment 2 Gilles Dartiguelongue (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2008-01-23 16:05:38 UTC
3.16 is to be handled with the rest of gnome-2.20.{2,3}. As simple as that :)

Comment 9 Matthias Langer 2008-03-04 03:09:58 UTC
on amd64:

i've just installed
gnome-extra/gtkhtml-2.11.1 USE="-accessibility -debug -test*"

what i've found out:

media-gfx/gimp-2.4.2 USE="alsa dbus gnome jpeg lcms mmx pdf png python sse svg tiff -aalib (-altivec) -curl -debug -doc -gtkhtml -mng -smp -wmf"

app-office/gnotime-2.2.3 USE="-debug" (see bug 205242)

can still be started.

it is possible to build

app-editors/screem-0.16.0 USE="dbus spell ssl zlib -debug -doc"

against it and it run it. thus, my first impression is, that this package is ready to go stable; however, i've not yet tested any of the listed rdeps throughly...
