i seem to recall the internal version being modified/integrated, so it isnt
possible to use the system readline

feel free to check it out and lemme know :p

There's a --with-system-readline option. I'm doing a test build now and will be
back when I've tested it.

Works as a charm; want me to commit it as a new rev, or you'll take care of
that?

Fixed in 6.7.1-r2.
