Description:   Opened: 2008-01-18 08:32 0000 
sci-libs/libctl-3.0.2 (and below) depends on =dev-scheme/guile-1.6* which leads
portage wanting to downgrade guile-1.8*. Is it possible to change the
dependance to >dev-scheme/guile-1.6 ? Libctl works fine with guile-1.8 (except
for some deprecation warnings).

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge >=dev/scheme/guile-1.8
2. emerge sci-libs/libctl

Actual Results:  
Portage wants to downgrade guile.

Expected Results:  
Portage leaving guile-1.8* alone since libctl works fine with it.

Works fine for me with guile-1.8*, hence I just updated
the dependency to >=guile-1.6.
