Hi, This is so old that I don't want to touch it except of Gentoo QA issues. It seems to work to people... As I did not got any bug realted to this. I don't get 100% CPU, but the gpg process waits on the command-fd, when I kill it the test succeeds :) Anyway, to be on the safe side, I've modified dependencies to require gnupg-1.X. Thanks!
Hangs here too. I'll wait to hear what you all want done before keywording.
(In reply to comment #4) > Hangs here too. I'll wait to hear what you all want done before keywording. It hangs because it calls pinentry. It works partly when you enter the work directory as user with an X session and then run it (but then some of the tests still fail because I don't know which passwords to feed to pinentry). Stable for HPPA.
x86 stable, without tests it does work, maybe restrict it
(In reply to comment #3) > Anyway, to be on the safe side, I've modified dependencies to require > gnupg-1.X. This breaks my system, until now I was happily running gpgme in both slots, and suddenly you insert the gnupg-1.x dependency (gnupg-1.x is *not* slotted); here's the output of emerge -pNDuv world: app-crypt/gnupg:0 ('ebuild', '/', 'app-crypt/gnupg-1.4.7-r1', 'merge') pulled in by ('ebuild', '/', 'app-crypt/gpgme-0.3.14-r2', 'merge') ('installed', '/', 'app-crypt/gnupg-2.0.7', 'nomerge') pulled in by ('ebuild', '/', 'app-crypt/gpgme-0.3.14-r2', 'merge') ('installed', '/', 'app-crypt/gpgme-1.1.5', 'nomerge') Please revert previous dependencies.
awaria: It fails many tests with gnupg-2... Are you sure it worked for you until now? Why do you use it anyway? What requires it?
Yes, it has worked perfectly for the last two years. I'm using it with tclgpgme for encrypting communication in my tcl-based jabber client (tkabber). I know tclgpgme is an obscure (and possibly unmaintained) package, but everything worked just fine from a users's point of view.
OK. Removed restriction for gnupg-2.
Thanks!
alpha/ia64/sparc stable ppc64 was done
