These two should go stable together. For rescan-scsi-bus, r1 is a tiny
detection fix over r0, because it was bailing out if you only had the newer
sysfs support and had disabled the old /proc/scsi stuff (the rest of the app
already supported both, and always used the 2.6 interface on new kernels).

testing procedures:
rescan-scsi-bus: Depending on your host controllers, this might not be safe for
your data, so I wouldn't recommend just testing it directly. It does work on an
fibre-channel controller I tested, as well as my external SATA array.

sg3_utils: 
I suggest trying either sg_vpd or sg_inq on a disk drive as safe commands. Some
of the other stuff can write to disk, or cause a disk to be non-responsive for
a while, so take care if you want to run others instead.
