I received the same error. My CFLAGS: "-march=pentium3 -pipe -Os". I visited http://www.directfb.org/. However, their bug tracker is down. I did notice that FusionSound 1.1.1 was released on 2-11-08. The version in portage is outdated. One oddity I noticed: Building Drivers: OSS yes ALSA yes WAVE yes The only OSS support I have on my system is provided by ALSA. This isn't configurable with USE flags. I don't know if it has anything to do with the error. I'll look into it further after work. ui, missed the version bump, however, i tested local FusionSound-1.1.1 for compile and it works on my amd64 and x86 sytems, added the latest Version FusionSoun-1.1.1 in to the portage Plz, check this version an give a short response... #### for this question about Building Drivers: OSS yes ALSA yes WAVE yes the ./configure call in sources, called by emake from ebuild, do some system checks for availabel parts (headers, installed progs etc. ) and set parameters for configure and make. If you dont have any parts of alsa wave or oss installed, there will be setted then to NO
FusionSound 1.1.1 compiled flawlessly. Thank you for the help.
Plz let me just give a last comment to this bug FusionSound must always compiled against the same Versions number on directfb FusionSound-1.0.0 against directfb-1.1-0 will not work. See this bug Please be carefull on next update of DirectFB ! Sorry, but i dont use any of both programms. Thats while i missed the versions bump. It would be very helpfull, if an user open a bump request bug, if he know there is a new version of DirectFb in the tree an not the same version of FusionSound. I will this fix then fast. BR.
