please keyword media-libs/libggiwmh-0.3.2 which should be added into mplayer depends behind USE ggi. to test: USE="ggi" emerge libggiwmh mplayer configure should output: Checking for GGI ... yes Checking for GGI extension: libggiwmh ... yes and you should have a working video output called ggi in mplayer..

bsd done; still missing others deps though
19 Feb 2008; Tobias Scherbaum <dertobi123@gentoo.org> libggiwmh-0.3.2.ebuild: ppc stable, bug #208566
It looks like there is no versions left for mips or ~mips in tree anymore. This bug is no longer valid, mips lost the most popular video player we have. Shame.
who removed the last keyworded ebuild?
and for that matter, ggi has been masked on mips since 2004. there was no reason to drop the keyword in the first place.
this bug stays open until we can rekeyword mplayer.
This bug will be closed in 30 days if it's not keyworded.
Created attachment 175684 [details] Mplayer running on Octane (over ssh forwarded X11) This is mplayer playing a small clip I have of the old Soviet space shuttle launch via SSH/X11 Forwarding (hence the Vista/Aero theme, because I'm testing from my windows desktop). It's not very fast, probably because it's going over the network, but it plays. No external speakers available, so I didn't bother hooking an actual monitor/keyboard/mouse into the Octane to try it directly from the console and test sound. I'll go ahead and ~mips the latest mplayer available, as well as faac. Please keep forwarding these keywords from version to version unless a change in USE or dependencies necessitates a dropping of our or all keywords and let us know. Thanks!
