Some work for arch monkeys here :-P Also, I remember an email telling we could stabilize for amd64 if we can test there, is this still possible? Thanks Reproducible: Always
x86 stable
All ebuilds that could satisfy "dev-haskell/gtk2hs" have been masked, what version should we go for here?
The latest version should work fine.
--- amd64 --- app-portage/himerge-0.15 1: emerges 2: passes collision-protect, (multilib-)strict, test 3: works - Basic sync/emerge/unmerge/keyword-editor sync took ages (more the 20 times normal) and the keyword-editor hosed my gatt entries in packages.keywords. I would be interested to know what exactly the keyword editor did to your packages.keyword file. Also, a new release of himerge has been released , so if possible, test with that one too. Some important bugs have been fixed there. I will probably open a new stabilization bug soon for this new version too.
Haven't had time to try the new version, but what the old version did was it erased all comments in the file. Seems to me like the editor parses the keywords file and then regenerates it, thus omitting all comments.
Ok, I am really more interested to get latest version stabilized now actually. Probably next week, I will be opening a new bug for it. As for the parsing problem, yes, it removes all the comments from these files, because of several design decisions ; I will keep this in mind to probably avoid it in future releases. Regards,
