this is in the tree but well busted. The dir it creates is 0.9.16 instead of
the correct directory.

If you open the archive pmount-0.9.17.tar.gz downloaded from a gentoo-mirror
the top dir is indeed 0.9.16 and the contained ChangeLog says it as well. I've
downloaded the source from the link in comment 0 and that was the correct
archive.

This is a complete fail...
