Debian has ported lightspeed to GTK+-2, please apply patch from them, GTK+-1 needs to die. <quote> lightspeed (1.2a-6) unstable; urgency=low * NMU : converted to GTK2, for bug 354650 </quote> [1] http://packages.debian.org/sid/lightspeed [2] http://ftp.de.debian.org/debian/pool/main/l/lightspeed/lightspeed_1.2a-7.diff.gz [3] http://packages.debian.org/changelogs/pool/main/l/lightspeed/lightspeed_1.2a-7/changelog

Debian page mentions it still needs gtkglarea-1 which needs the gtk-1 stuff. Anyway, lightspeed-1.2a-r1, with the debian patch and gtkglarea* is in the tree but masked. It crashes on me once fired-up. If no-one is willing to take care of it, either we keep the gtk-1 version, or we punt the package. It is at the bottom of my priorities to further debug or maintain it.
Shame. I don't really care about lightspeed, only about getting rid of gtk+-1.x and glib-1.x But if there is no alternative, dunno..
Just tested it again, and tried every possible option.. Seems to work fine here.
