I realized that I don't need guile support on this system apart from gnucash,
and disabling this USE flag "solved" the problem for me.

I guess we should wait until guile passes its own tests first... :)

Try to emerge guile with USE=networking. This solved it on my box.

 Yes.  crypto team,

 In src_test you must check for enabled guile USE flag and skip tests if
dev-scheme/guile has been built without USE=networking.

Maybe at pkg_setup should check this and fail merge?

I guess that guile with USE=networking is not only needed for the test suite.
Maybe someone can check that and add a built_with_use check to the ebuild?
