Hi Helmut,

Thanks for reporting. Testing with gnome will take me a while, but I think I
spotted the problem, using USE_EINSTALL before inherit gnome2. You can add it
to the ebuild, or simply resync in a few hours and retry. Let me know.

I get a bit further down the road but this time it seems to need a 
-lgfortran in the LDFLAGS:
There first of a series of error messages being

../lib/.libs/libgretl-1.0.so: undefined reference to `_gfortran_stop_numeric'

(My only FORTRAN compiler is gfortran (from gcc-4.2.2))

Thanks for follow up. The linking issue seems the same as the one you reported
in bug #198547. As far as sandbox violation is concerned, the issue is
resolved.
