Please stabilize maxima-5.13.0-r1.
There is a regression suite enabled with FEATURES=test. Once installed, the
xmaxima gui (triggered by USE=tk) has few examples to test as well. The cli
only should work with the same examples as shown in the xmaxima. 

Once you're done, consider stabilizing wxmaxima.

i'm going with "=app-misc/rlwrap-0.24" for the time being. test results will be
available in about 6 hours ;-)

for testing, i've done some calculations, factored few numbers/polynomials,
computed an integral, eigen(vectors/values) and finally solved some equations.
