Description:   Opened: 2007-12-02 21:03 0000 
The dvdrip ebuild will error if transcode is compiled with extrafilters.  This
was due to a bug in transcode back in 2005:

This bug has been fixed upstream as of 1.0.3.  I'm not finding official
information on it but it's listed on the wiki for 1.0.3:

Also, I have transcode 1.0.3 installed (it's the latest stable version in
amd64) and dvdrip did not hang after I took out the transcode extrafilters
restriction.

This issue will probably resolve itself *eventually* anyway as I noticed the
latest (but masked) version of transcode no longer has the extrafilters
keyword.  Either way this ebuild should probably be updated.
