Description:   Opened: 2007-11-23 00:31 0000 
net-wireless/iwlwifi-1.2.0 is out.  Renaming the 1.1.12 ebuild and commenting
out the epatch line is enough.  Driver works as expected with no sandbox
issues.

iwlwifi 1.2.22 is out.
renaming the 1.2.0 ebuild works for me.

I can confirm this.

At least the src_compile nonsense is not required anymore.. As a personal note,
I really don't understand why compnerd simply ignored my comments about his
1.1.21 ebuild. I find this to be very rude, to say the least. The ebuild was
probably better off in sunrise anyway...

works fine on 2.6.23 (with gentoo and kamikaze patches)

Oh sorry, the 1.2.0 ebuild also has the src_compile nonsense, whic is not
needed anymore...

My current 1.2.22 ebuild is attached, which is a lot cleaner.

I seem to be having some issues building this against 2.6.24, so Im going to
lock the kernel dep on || ( =22 =23 ) for now.
