Description Lars Wendler (Polynomial-C) (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-11-21 18:11:28 UTC
Hi,

it seems like bug #127773 reappeared. kaffeine installs its mo files as ${P}.mo instead of ${PN}.mo thus kaffeine only starts with english language. I only checked 0.8.5-r1 ebuild but there it's 100% reproduceable.
When I remove versionnumber from the mo files kaffeine starts with my preferred language (german).

Cheers
Poly-C

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge =kaffeine-0.8.5-r1
2. start kaffeine with different language settings than english.

kaffeine-0.8.5-r1.ebuild.diff

This is a rather ugly change to the ebuild, to get kaffeine installed with correct mo filenames.
I tried to look what flammeeyes did to the ebuilds when bug #127773 got fixed but all those ebuilds seem to be deleted from gentoo CVS (they show up in the hidden files but can't be viewed).

Committed and bumped to kaffeine-0.8.5-r2, thanks for providing a fix Lars.
